The first new Mission integrated Amplifier in 40 Years
Over the last 45 Years, mission have continued to evolve and develop loudspeakers that break the norns for price-point, tech and design - but in it's history Mission was also responsible for some equally ground-breaking electronics and now finally, here comes the Mission 778X, a re-visit of the classic Mission Amplifier that was the Mission 778 - the original 778 was an affordable, integrated amp that offered simplicity in operation but massively over-performed both it's physical size and price point.
The new 778X continues the ethos of simple operation with large tactile controls and multiple inputs. Again it is a compact unit, but fully equipped to meet the demands of modern music lovers from digital fans to vinyl addicts! Modern upgrades such as the LED level indicators, Bluetooth, and digital inputs make the 778X a truly contemporary integrated amplifier.
Boasting a true 65 Watts into 4Ohms power with a modern & refined signal path - the 778X matches the philosophy of design and build quality for which Mission speakers are famed.
Inputs Galore
The 778x is equipped with a dedicated Vinyl input, based around a JFET circuit with precise RIAA equalisation, optomised for MM cartridges - eliminating the need for an additional phono pre-amp.
Headphone Stage
The 778x set out to equal the performance of stand alone headphone amplifiers, some equalling the cost of the 778x, the 778x offers high-speed output signal transition thanks to it's high slew rate - resulting in a dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with all headphone types.
