Rather than linking it to your Sonos system via an interconnect or Bluetooth, it uses wi-fi to sync perfectly within your Sonos ecosystem. Control via Sonos and dedicated apps
Set up is easy via the dedicated Victrola control app. This lets you adjust the signal delay and switch between the wireless and wired connections. Once you’ve set it up, simply use the multi-award-winning Sonos app to adjust the tone, volume and room designation – just as you’re accustomed to with other Sonos products.

Connect to other systems
With standard RCA phono connections and a built-in phono pre-amp, the Stream Carbon turntable also connects to any hi-fi source or speaker system with an Aux input. This is perfect for switching between a Sonos system for multi-room music and a dedicated hi-fi system.

Solidly constructed from MDF for low distortion sound, the Stream Carbon upholds the high standards set by Sonos. Fitted with a carbon tonearm and premium cartridge, the sound quality is perfectly judged between punchy and detailed. Carbon tonearm
Equipped with a carbon fibre tonearm, this turntable matches many of its more conventional rivals. Carbon fibre construction makes the tonearm light yet rigid, letting the cartridge accurately follow the record’s groove whilst also resisting vibrations. The tonearm features a detachable headshell and adjustable counterweight, letting you fit an upgraded cartridge.

Usually priced at around £100 in its own right, the supplied Ortofon 2M Red cartridge maintains this turntable’s premium quality appeal. With its highly polished diamond tip, the cartridge delivers excellent tracking, without causing excessive wear to your vinyl records.

Just like Sonos’ speakers, the beauty of this design is in the detail. Sleek and minimalist, the style is timeless. Look more closely, however, and there are some neat details. The illuminated volume control gives tactile and direct volume control. The stylish dustcover lifts off the deck when in use, reducing resonance from the lid but also emphasising the smooth lines.
