HPE enhanced for a purer sound
Unique to the 3050i model, HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology reduces distortion. Larger speaker cabinets tend to build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalising the pressure around the cabinet the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.

Improved cabinet bracing

Working alongside HPE is new P2P bracing. P2P (Point-to-Point) bracing is now deployed to enhance rigidity and further reduce cabinet distortion. Reducing cabinet distortion lets the drive units operate at their optimum, giving a cleaner, purer sound.

Revised drive units
With their newly developed surrounds, the bass units are even more accurate and faster to respond. The coated paper woofer cones are light, rigid, and helps give the 3050i’s their deep, punchy sound quality.
