”The louder you like it, the more they sound energetic and engaged.” ’Trusted Reviews’ – Recommended.

A classic, re-energised

Launched in 1980, the original Mission 700 speakers soon established themselves as the speakers to beat for an energetic, upbeat sound. Fundamental to Mission’s future reputation, they’re the speakers that did most to establish the legendary Mission sound. The latest Mission 700 runs with the same sonic signature and iconic design but uses Mission’s 45-years of experience to completely update the design and construction. In short, this is Mission’s ‘80s classic for the ‘20s.

Powerful and precise bass – just as you’d expect from Mission
Overseen by Mission’s legendary audio designer, Peter Comeau, the latest 700 has the same powerful, addictive bass response that helped make the original so popular. Just like many classic Mission speakers, the new 700 uses white, mineral loaded polypropylene bass cones for a strong and agile bottom end. If you like your music to be foot-tappingly upbeat, you’ll not be disappointed. They also go deep – really deep for their size. With a bass extension that drops down to 38Hz, these stand-mount speakers easily match many smaller floorstanders for bass depth.

Bright and detailed at the top end
Just as memorable as their agile bass, the original Mission 700 is revered for its top-end bite and detail. This is another tradition that the latest model continues. With soft dome tweeters, the top end is as smooth as it is detailed. Modern refinements include rear chambers that isolate the delicate drivers from standing waves within the cabinet, helping to further reduce distortion.

Inverted and time-aligned drivers for expansive soundstage
As with the originals, the latest Mission 700 speakers position the tweeters inboard and beneath the woofers. This inverted design helps time-align the sound, meaning that all the frequencies arrive at your ears at the same time! It also promotes that famous Mission ‘wall of sound’ that made the originals such a hit.

Choice of top quality finishes
Although the style is very much original 700, look closely and you’ll see a whole host of improvements. Thanks to magnetically attached grilles, the iconic white baffle is now free from ugly grille mounting sockets. The immaculately finished cabinets use real wood veneers - available in period perfect Black Oak or Walnut Pearl.

Reconnect with your music, with the upbeat sound from the Mission 700s.

Enhance your speakers’ sound and style with the Mission 700 Speaker Stands.

The perfect match for Mission 700 speakers
With their stylish quad columns, these stands offer the matching Mission speakers the best possible support. They also match the base dimensions, giving a neat and harmonious fit. As well as offering a secure base, the stands also lift the speakers to the ideal height, meaning you get the most detailed and lifelike sound.

Ideal for other standmount speakers
Although these stands are made to match the Mission 700 speakers, they also make a great match for many other standmount speakers. The 260mm x 270mm top plate suits most medium/larger standmount speakers, with the 485mm height (18 inches plus around an inch for the spikes) also ideal.

Vibration damping
Featuring hardened, stainless steel spikes, the stands adjust to sit firmly on your floor. The spikes also isolate the speakers from the floor, giving a purer, less woolly sound. The high carbon steel columns are fitted with internal damping that effectively minimises vibration, promoting an even more natural sound.

Add the Mission 700 Speaker Stands and optimise these special speakers’ sound and style.
