A bigger picture, without a big TV
Thanks to the Cinema X P2 projector, a big picture doesn’t have to mean a big TV. This ultra-short throw projector is designed to work at very close range to a wall or screen. Simply place on a bracket, shelf or sideboard in front of the wall and you’ve got instant big screen entertainment – whatever the size of room. Enjoy an image from 85 – 120 inches, with the projection just 47 – 66cm from the wall.

Laser power for incredible contrast
Featuring laser lighting, via a Texas Instruments’ DMP DLP system, the CinemaX P2 is at the cutting-edge of projector technology. Laser power offers many advantages, the first of which is the picture with superb levels of contrast (2,000,000:1) and colour realism. The design should last far longer than a typical projector bulb and provide a more consistent performance over its lifetime.

See the picture ‘pop’ with HDR
With HDR10 and HLG compatibility, the CinemaX P2 is the ideal match for your UHD Blu-ray player and other 4K HDR video sources. HDR not only offers deeper blacks, brighter whites and more vibrant colours, but also subtler images, too. So what looks like an area of solid black on an inferior projector, is shown to have shade and texture, previously unseen.

Native UHD 4K resolution for the ultimate resolution
Making the most of HDR10 compatibility is UHD 4K resolution. Projecting in this resolution gives detail and realism that's impossible to achieve with conventional Full HD resolution. UHD 4K resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD projectors and it's a difference you can easily see on a large projection screen. Eye-popping detail and the sharpest definition make this the perfect projector for UHD viewing.

Designed to excel at home
Thanks to its superb brightness figure of 3000 ANSI Lumens, the CinemaX P2 works well in all room environments. Even during daylight conditions with curtains or blinds open, the Optoma produces a bright, natural picture. Most projectors have the basic speakers or none at all. While we’d always recommend a home cinema speaker system, there are times when this isn’t possible or you just want to watch a soap or documentary without having to switch the full system on. This is where the CinemaX P2 excels. Featuring a built-in soundbar with Dolby Digital 2.0, the CinemaX P2’s speaker system delivers powerful audio that’s more than a match for most TVs.

Voice control ready
If you own an Amazon Echo or Google Home device, then controlling this projector is just a voice command away. Ask Alexa or Google to turn the projector on/off, adjust the volume, change the input and more.

Smart apps
Using the built-in App store Marketplace, you can access a wide range of entertainment apps, giving you effortless control from your smartphone or tablet. Netflix, YouTube and Spotify are just three of the most popular apps that are ready to go. Note – Google Play services not supported.

SmartFIT app for the perfect image
If you have an uneven wall or the projector is at an angle to the screen, SmartFIT helps correct the image. Using your smartphone or tablet, you can individually control each corner of the screen for a perfectly aligned image.

InfoWall for more than just entertainment
Another option for filling that blank wall comes via InfoWall. Using the Optoma Connect app, you can set the projector to show a range of feeds, including weather, video and social media feeds. It can even be set to wake you up with calming music.
